Wow, I had such a great time in Denmark!
I love Danish people. They combine depth with lightness in a really charming and unique way. I was made most welcome, and found the setting of the festival really stunning (see here for pics).
I told to an audience of 80 plus on the Saturday night. What a treat! I sometimes think that storytelling to a large audience is easier than a small one. It is perhaps more nerve-racking, and I was indeed pretty amped up for it, but you get the possibility to play with an audience of that size, there was a lot of humour in the story I told.
And I also enjoyed the opportunity to give a talk about my work on Sunday morning. I’ve never done so before, and this was a great stimulus to work out what I’d like to say about my work, and what I think it has to offer people. I’ll be putting that talk up online soon.
Thanks to Ingrid Hvass for inviting me, and all the lovely Danish people who came and received what I had to offer!…
